I didn't know what forum to post this in so I just posted this in STRATA. Just wondering if anyone else feels that we don't require a pool monitor during adult swim times? Without trying to be rude or name names, I feel the lady we had last year was quite nosy and I felt like she 'watched' my girlfriend and I. I understand that this may be an insurance issue, if so, fine. I just think that we should be able to use our facilities without feeling like I'm being watched. During regular times I'm sure it is appropriate as there would be more kids using the pool.
The pool monitor is the only way to ensure that the adults swimming are Greenside residents. The abuse extends to the adult swim time also. There have been owners who when they have gone on holidays have given thier swipe cards to friends.
I get that erry feeling too knowing they are just policing the pool but that's just human nature to want privacy. I'd rather do away with a monitor and just get a life guard (unless I'm mistaking monitor=life guard, my apologies)
Hello to all
I am one off those pool monitors.,and I agree monitor may not be the best title. But Tonight I have an example off why we are there. There was a young lady in the pool swimming laps and enjoying her time, when a man walks in with two children. I explian that it is adult nite, and he proceed to tell me that he owns the pool because he is a resident, and tells me where to go.
Even on adult nights we as employees of the pool have to the peace ,not all adults are grown ups.
Respectfulley yours

I Have been living in greenside 13 yrs now
1ST TIME IN POOL THIS AUG .
Pool monitor NO problem just wanted me to prove who I was.
Good... otherwise we would get ..outsiders in there.
ITS OUR POOL WE PAY FOR IT..
There was at one time a severe problem of pool users not being owners or vistors with owners. They managed to get cards from friends who thought it was no big deal to give out a key card or two. You are right, we as owners pay for it therefore we should have exclusive use of it. If none Greenside folks want to use our pool maybe they should buy in like you and I did. There has been some problems with 3AM fence jumpers waking up the residents surrounding the pool. They were owners (with outstanding fees and levies I might add), who just thought it was no big deal to wake up sound asleep owners at 3AM. Nice folks hey.
