Like the old song "This land is your land", so it goes here, "this strata is your strata". However if you don't defend your strata at least from your point of view, others will always rule over you. There might be a better way but so far the rules that govern us have been the same since I bought here 15 years ago.

Even with the change from the Condominium Act to the Strata Property Act, our bylaws and rules were just transfered, except where they may have conflicted with new Strata Property Act and by Provincial Law were amended.

For those that think that the "Council" just makes it all up as they go along, I have a book for you to read ..... Alice in Wonderland.

For Godness sakes, if you think something is wrong or unjust rise up. At the AGM we need 92 votes in the room (not people, votes), seldom does that happen, so we stand down for 15 minutes as per OUR (noy my) bylaws. So, why do we only get around 80 out of 276? In my never to be humble opinion because the others see the paper work, say that things are managed well, I can live with the new fee, so why do I have to show up, I don't have a bitch.

Regardless, in 15 years of ownership, I have been to every AGM. Am I a great person NO , just one how cares about our strata.

You can hate me, you can dispise me. Who cares, certainly not me, just depose me if I am not doing a good job.

Simple, eh.
